We have a new teacher in Jefferson High School who is on the freshman floor, her name is Ms. Johnson she teaches English 9/Honors English 9 room 325.

She was once a student at Jefferson High School a couple of years ago around 2019. She said that Ms. Grazcky was her English teacher when she was in school and she had inspired Ms. Johnson to become an English Teacher. I know that last year she loved student teaching and getting to know her students, learning more about them.

She was a student teacher last year for Ms. Grazcky. She loves English, she taught me and other students a lot about English.

The reason why she wanted to become a teacher is to give back to the 815 and make a difference in the community. Rockford has a bad reputation, but there are things about Rockford that should receive the spotlight and be celebrated instead. She believes that Rockford’s youth consists of students with great potential and amazing opportunities. she thinks about the public education that she received from RPS 205 and all of the inspirational teachers that she had, and she is so grateful for all that it has offered her. She knew that she wanted to be a part of this and help students become who they want to be, by making our city proud, through the power of reading and writing.

She is an amazing teacher to have she is so sweet, kind, and caring and always tries to find a way to help students that are in need of schoolwork.
