the rock river valley blood center is hosting a competition with schools in Rockford. It began February 1st and will end may 21, 2022.  participants may donate every 56 days. You must be at least 16 with a parents permission to donate, if you are 17 or older you may donate with out parent permission.

Student Laura Hart, has donated 2 times now, at the first school blood drive and in the Rock Valley blood center.  When asked Hart said, “ I plan to donate again and it is a good way to give back to my community.”
