ROCKFORD- Jefferson High Schools graduation is right around the corner! It will be held at Swanson Stadium, on June 9, 2022, at 6pm. Proper attire can be found on Jostens.com and will need to be purchased by May 14th. 

In order to walk the stage that evening, students will need to make sure before hand that they have passed all core classes and ended with all 48 credits. As well as completing the SAT or ACT, and passing the constitution test.

If students are behind in credits and need to make them up they have a few options to choose from. They can attend summer or night school at Roosevelt. We also offer a free online credit recovery program to seniors called Edmentum. 

Ms.Juno the Business counselor at Jefferson, wanted to give some advice to underclassmen, “stay organized and stay motivated!”. According to the Illinois School Report Card from 2020-2021, Jeffersons graduation rate is 63% and Rockford’s graduation rate is 64%.
