Last night the Freshman volleyball team defeated the Blue Thunder 25-23 in the first set, lost the second set 25-15, and took the final set 15-11 securing the victory over the Blue Thunder. Everyone was excited about their win. The Freshman win today secures the team record 5-2.

The Varsity girls played a hard-fought match against the Blue Thunder. The first set was 20-25 and the second set was 19-25 each and everyone played amazingly and all worked very hard.

Head Coach Nick Kluzak thought the match went very well. “We played two full sets against Belvidere North and that’s a tough feat,” said Kluzak, “Everyone played hard and I am proud of all of my teams on hard-fought matches.” Once again Kluzak leads the Jefferson J-Hawks tomorrow vs the Guilford Vikings at 7 pm at Guilford High School.
