Last night’s match between the Jefferson J-Hawks and the East E-rabs was intense for all three levels.  

The night started with the Freshman team taking the first set 25-23, then winning the second set 25-12 taking the victory against the E-rabs making their record 10-2. 

The JV team played at the same time as the Freshmen, winning the first set 25-18. They lost the second set 25-16, but came back for the win in the third set 15-11.

The varsity team had many fans at their game including the Freshman and the JV team cheering them on. Coach Nick Kluzak led his varsity team to victory in the first set 25-14, and 25-13 in the second set. Senior Alexandra Lee scored the last couple of points in the game leading her team to victory. 

Each team was very excited about their win, but this isn’t the first time that all three levels have won together. Last Thursday the J-hawks took on the Freeport Pretzels at Freeport. Every team worked hard for their wins and celebrated each other’s victories. 

On Tuesday, October 4th, Kluzak will lead his J-hawks against the Hononegah Indians at Jefferson at 7 pm.
